Area 51 trip.

Last October I finally was able to visit the world famous Area 51.  Not a lot to see but it was an awesome trip!

Travel Life: Minnesota

I spent last week in awesome MN. I was there a few months ago and it was COLD, around 15 degrees. This time around it was 40-50’s. There was snow all over but the streets were clear.

I am going back in a few weeks.  I am looking forward to it.  Maybe I can get some fishing in!

A day in the woods.

A couple weeks back I spent a day up in the woods with some good friends.  There is nothing like wandering around snapping some photo’s and shooting the breeze.

Here are a few pictures from the trip:

Here are some pictures I was able to take this week. A couple my brother took with my camera, better angle.

Camping.

This weekend was pretty nice so we decided to hit the old camp spot.  My friend did a little fishing but not have much luck.  It was pretty dang hot for a September day.

We hit the camp spot and decided to not even put up the tents it was so nice.  It got dark we had a nice fire and just hung out a couple of hours.

After the fire burnt out, I went to bed and was just staring off at the stars.  Around 4am I woke up to a sprinkle on the face.  Looking up I noticed that there were no more stars.  Uh-oh.  Within 2 minutes it was a storm!

We could have put up tarps or tents but decided just to pack it in and head home.  Even though we left way too early, it was still awesome to spend an evening out in the woods.

Another adventure list item GONE! Ariel.

Well, I was FINALLY able to go visit the Ariel.  There is not much there, mostly the store that is famous for its D.B. Cooper Days.  I had first seen it on a documentary on TV.  I hope to go back for their annual event.

More camping

This morning I upgraded my blog software so I could use this really cool iPhone application that allows me to blog anywhere, anytime!

So, here I am at 3:25 am, in the mountains! I do not have service here but I will upload this draft when I can.

I am normally passed out by now but we got a late start. It is a near full moon tonight so we could see without flashlights. It is also warn an peaceful tonight.

How can you have a bad night in the mountains!?

A trip to the woods.

The mountains by far are probably my most favorite place to be. I went up today and played in the snow, drove around and took a few pictures. Here they are:

Sapphires – One off the list!

A few weeks ago I went to Philipsburg Montana.  This trip was hands down one of the best times of my life, well at least adult life!

There are many places to go and ‘buy dirt’.  I was able to get this fine booty :

Well over 17 ct.

A blast of a trip and one item off my list.  Let me tell you, the people on your trip make all the difference, and this topped it so far.

Want more information on where to go, what to do, where to eat or see?! Post a reply and I’ll try to get what ever I can to you.
